  • URT & Active X / java

Hi again, I am curious as to the nature of the active X and java components that are installed/ run as part of a the URT test. In terms of filesize, how large are these items? How are these handled by the typical home computer security software (e.g. Norton) In addition, there is a paragraph on page...

  • Any monitor/ hardware limitations or hiccups?

I ran the URT test on a system with mutiple monitors and received all green checks. I've also used other applications previously which all tested fine, but when it came to run them the muti-monitors prevented successul use. Are multiple monitors supported? I can see that the instructor would benefor...

  • Firewalls, ports, and communication protocols

The nice presentations and documentation are very user friendly and also point out that the application is Firewall friendly. That's great, but I am rather curious as to the details. Too often we see bandwidth being throttled due to viruses, peer-2-peer apps, YouTube/Flash, etc. With that we need...

  • Re: URT - & Vista

That will explain it for sure! If I may suggest, perhaps an edit to this page: http://www.surgient.com/pubs/50/base/URThelp/help.htm As I read the prerequisites, I must use IE6 with Win 2000 Pro or later. To me that means Vista is supported. Or at least is implied as such, right? Best, HiEdTechie

Error appears as below. Any clues as to whay this occurs? Where is the support documentation; anything other than the Help file...

  • Re: User experiences

Thin(er) clients are on the way in, this is for certain. My guess is the desire to conserve energy will drive the demand. Regarding the documentation I have a few observations. Due to our distributed nature we would likely employ the URT. One item typically misunderstood by our end users is the need...

  • Re: CRM

The document I sourced from [ http://www.surgient.com/pubs/53/base/ ] does not have the last three sections. Is the source of that information above available as well? It is terrific to read that the bandwidth levels within the URT is customizable; but is this true for hosted (ASP) solutions as well...
