    Reset RDP password

Is it possible to reset the password/credentials for RDP access into a virtual machine deployed by Surgient VQMS? For reasons that are too long to go into here, a virtual machine currently deployed is no longer accessible via the RDP link in the Surgient console. While clicking on the link launches the RDP session without issue, an error pops up that the password is invalid. Can this be reset using the Engine.Script.reset-remoteaccess command; and if so, what is the proper syntax?

    Thanks

    Orlando

    Re: Reset RDP password

reset-remoteaccess will log off any users logged into the VM.  If you want to reset the RDP password try setup-remoteaccess.  Running setup again should reset the password the second-time through.

The usage, in vcsadmin, is displayed with:

    commandshow setup-remoteaccess

    An example would be: commandrun MyHost-PoolVm-1 setup-remoteaccess deploymentid=101 remoteaccesmethods=RDP

The deployment id is available from scheduledeploymentlist
